| 摘 要： | 在20世纪初到中期,利文斯通长期从事大学教育实践工作,并对大学教育作了深入的探讨与研究,提出了自己的大学教育思想。文章对利文斯通的大学教育实践与大学教育思想作了比较深入和全面的研究。指出这些思想不仅是西方传统的大学理念的代表,也影响着西方大学在现代的发展。

| Abstract: | The article studies the British educationist Livingstone's practice and ideas on university education.In the first half of 20th century,Livingstone was not only a university educator,but also developed his own ideas on university education.This paper explores his college education practice and ideas,and points out that these ideas are not only representatives of western tradition,but influential in the development of modern western education. |
