| Abstract: | The lexical chunk,as a component with form and function,combines advantages of grammar,semantics and context,therefore is regarded as an ideal unit of vocabulary acquisition.The present thesis explores the application of lexical chunk approach to comprehensive English teaching,and further analyzes its positive functions in consolidating students' language foundation and enhancing their communicative competence. |
