| Abstract: | This paper discusses the pros and cons of telephone interpreting. Using a Chinese telephone interpreting com- pany-Language Tele-Interpreter Service - as an example, this paper attempts to illustrate the occupational status of tele- phone interpreting in China. The successful application of telephone interpreting in some big events makes people know more about it and its advantages. Finally, some suggestions about the promoting telephone interpreting service in China are put forward in this paper. |
