| Abstract: | In the traditional Chinese society, there exists a complex relation between the officials and folk beliefs. By combing through the local records, the literary sketches and some other literature records, the author emphasizes the situation of local officials from Fujian worshipping the fox spirit. Besides, the author analyzes the political meaning of the worship. |
