| 摘 要： | 《纯真年代》是美国著名女作家伊迪丝·华顿的一部获普利策奖的重要作品。本文从女性意识出发，发掘小说的独特魅力以及故事背后隐含的社会因素和现实意义，认为该小说的女性意识表现在两个方面：男权社会优越性的解构的抗争和男女平等的社会的建构。同时，女性意识也在作者华顿的个人生活以及她的创作生涯得到了较充分的体现。

| Abstract: | Published in 1920,The Age of Innocence is regarded to be Edith Wharton's masterpiece,which has won the Pulitzer Prize.In the novel,Wharton has portrayed a fresh and unique old New York from the perspective of a female.The paper intends to make an exploration into the feminine consciousness in the novel through a detailed thematic analysis,which is embodied in two aspects: deconstruction of the masculine superiority and construction of a kind of society pattern with equality of the two sexes.Moreover,the paper shows that the feminine consciousness can be found in Edith Wharton's life and writing experiences. |
