| 摘 要： | 依托在计划经济体制之上的民族高等教育面临严峻挑战:学科和专业结构不能适应民族地区的发展需求,基础薄弱且投入不足,人才流失严重。市场经济条件下,发展民族高等教育的对策:重新定位;建立适应市场经济需求的运行机制;用经济手段确保为发展民族高等教育所进行的投入;加强高校教学改革的力度,优化专业和学制结构;挖掘社会办学的巨大潜力;争取国家的更大支持。

| Abstract: | Ethnic higher education is facing great challenges, such as: courses and specialties failing to meet the needs of development in ethnic regions, lacking solid foundations, inadequate investment and serious brain drains. The countermeasures of developing ethnic higher education include: making reorientation, establishing an operative mechanism to suit the needs of market economy, ensuring investment for developing ethnic higher education through financial means, strengthening reform in teaching of higher learning institutions, optimizing specialties and school system, tapping great social potential of running schools and trying to gain greater support from the state. |
