Teaching Ethics Through Ethical Teaching |

| Abstract: | Teacher behavior as a possible vehicle for communicating ethics content to students is explored. In the absence of a formal Code of Ethics for higher education teaching, six major principles enumerated in the revised NASW Code are adapted and applied. The analysis suggests five practice principles which, if followed, could promote teacher behavior that models the ethical imperatives advanced in the NASW Code. |
