| Abstract: | In this paper it is proved that every symmetric group can be generated by the set which elements are all even cycles with the same length. This is a generalization of a property of symmetric groups which every symmetric group can be generated by all transpositions in it. Similarly, it is also obtained that every alternating group can be generated by the set which elements are all odd cycles with the same length. |
