| 摘 要： | 中西方文化的差异决定了中西方“面子”文化的差异,差异主要表现在概念上、内容上、保全机制上以及所体现的价值观上。西方“面子”文化以消极面子为主,中国“面子”文化以积极面子为主,西方文化中的消极面子在中国文化中是不存在的,中国“面子”文化中所包含的道德因素在西方文化中也是没有的,我们应了解这种差异,以便能顺利地进行跨文化交际。

| Abstract: | The differences in Chinese and Western Culture determines the differences of face perception in Chinese and Western culture;such differences are mainly reflected in the conception,content,face-saving mechanism and its value.The western "face" culture gives priority to the negative face,while the Chinese "face" culture attaches importance to the positive face;the negative face in the western culture does not exist in Chinese culture,while the moral factor contained in the Chinese "face" culture does not exist in western culture.We should understand these e differences so as to successfully carry on the intercultural communication. |
