| Abstract: | Through correlation analysis on the total scale of the higher education, R&D expenditure and the quantity of provincial/state doctoral degree awarding of China and the United States, the paper addresses the combined effect of doctoral education and puts forward policy suggestions for the development of doctoral education in China. |
