摘    要:本文讨论了通识教育课程的两种最常见模式——分布必修型、核心课程型出现的背景、理论依据及其优缺点,并以美国通识教育课程为例,总结通识教育课程的发展规律,探讨合理的通识教育课程模式。

Abstract:Distribution requirement and core curriculum are the two most common models of general education curriculum in American universities. This article summarizes the laws of general education curriculum development and discusses appropriate models of general education curriculum from the perspectives of their background, theoretical foundations as well as their pros and cons.
