| 摘 要： | 关于大学制度变迁的研究,除了宏观与中观层面的性质和动因分析,微观机制研究也十分必要。本文以制度变迁的广义理论为基础,分析二战后哈佛大学本科招生制度变迁。围绕着“学业资本”与“品位资本”之间的角逐、“贤能主义”与“世家优先”之间的较量,从变异、选择和遗传三个方面,揭示大学制度变迁的微观机制。“变异”意味着产生关于特定大学制度安排的（新）观念;大学制度变迁的“选择”环节包括政治动员和权力斗争两个阶段;大学制度变迁的“遗传”阶段也可被理解为对特定制度安排的选择,它包括规则的制定及其合法化、稳定化和复制。“为承认而斗争”是一个漫长的过程,哈佛招生制度改革一直在路上。

| Abstract: | In addition to the analysis of nature and motivation at macro and meso levels, it is necessary to study the mechanism of university institutional change at micro level. Based on the generalized theory of institutional change, this paper analyzes the change of Harvard University''s undergraduate enrollment institution after World War II. Around the competition between "academic capital" and "classy capital", and the contest between "meritocratic ideology" and "legacy preference", we can reveal the micro mechanism of institutional change from three aspects of variation, selection and heredity. The word "variation" means the generation of (new) ideas about specific university institutional arrangements; the "selection" phase of university institutional change includes two stages of political mobilization and power struggle; the genetic stage of institutional change can also be understood as the choice of specific institutional arrangements, which includes the formulation of rules and the legalization, stabilization and replication of rules. As "struggle for recognition" is a long process, Harvard''s enrollment institution reform has always been on the way. |
