| 摘 要： | 以"精明"为核心性格特征的所谓"上海人",既是近代以来上海文化的创造者,也是上海文化的产物和人格化表现。无论从籍贯意义上还是从文化意义上,鲁迅都不是真正的"上海人"。上海及上海文化始终未能"消化"鲁迅、"溶解"鲁迅,鲁迅也始终对上海文化主要采取批判态度。"上海人"性格中的主要内容基本上都处在鲁迅人格精神的对立面。在鲁迅那里,与"上海人"的"精明"针锋相对的,是其彻底的反虚伪、反庸俗、反市侩、反财富和权力崇拜的做"呆子"的意识。他在其生命后期不懈地进行对"聪明人"的批判和对"呆子"精神的颂扬,自觉抵抗上海文化、"上海人"性格中的信奉个人利益至上、实利主义的"精明"倾向,呼唤气魄宏大、精神强健、正直、质朴、无私、真诚的"上海人"。鲁迅对"精明"之外的真正能够支撑民族文化革新的强健人格的探寻,折射出强健的生存和战斗的意志。

| Abstract: | The so-called "Shanghai folks" are the creators and also the personification of the modern Shanghai culture.Lu Xun was never one of the Shanghai folks.The city of Shanghai and its culture never succeeded in "assimilating" or "naturalizing" Lu Xun.Lu Xun never ceased to criticize the Shanghai culture.The conflict may be attributed to the opposition of Lu Xun’s personality to the character of the Shanghai folks in large part.For Lu Xun,the "shrewdness" is diametrically opposite to the spirit of a "fool",for a "fool" has a strong aversion to hypocrisy,vulgarity,materialism,philistinism and the worship of power.During the later time of his life,Lu Xun relentlessly criticized "the shrewdness" and continued praising the spirit of "the fool".With a clear consciousness,he resisted the assimilation of the Shanghai culture,or rather the tendency to be shrewd.Lu Xun wanted to infuse the quality of generosity,honesty,selflessness,sincerity,mental strength and moral integrity into the character of Shanghai folks.Lu Xun’s thoughts on how to build a vigorous personality that is capable of rejuvenating the Chinese culture reflect his determination to live and fight. |
