| Abstract: | Discourse cohesion can be classified into explicit and implicit cohesion.The explicit cohesion finds expressions in the surface structure of discourse.The implicit cohesion establishes coherent relationships through context and pragmatic inferences.The implicit cohesion is a form of expression of discourse,the study of which will help readers understand the discourse more effectively. |
