A Pedagogical Model
Abstract:Reference workshops offer an important continuing education option for librarians. The planning, organization, and implementation of an assignment based program for the reference personnel of the Queens Borough Public Library is described. Participant evaluations are analyzed and presented with recommendations for future learning activities. The workshop format is presented in detail as a pedagogical model to be replicated or modified in other library environments.
