| Abstract: | Using the framing analysis method,this paper analyzes the editorials of the three major Japanese papers about history textbook problems.As a result of analysis,the three major papers took on a progressive attitude in the editorials in 1982,and criticized the Japanese government under a conservative frame.However,while the editorials in 2001 presented an innovative frame on the history textbook problem.The editorials demonstrated an intensified right-deviating ideology. |
