| 摘 要： | 在新兴数字技术的冲击下,公共图书馆经历着蜕变,在其遭遇威胁的同时,也面临着转机。本文透过维多利亚州立图书馆等案例解析,从理性的角度俯视数字化环境下的种种争论。可以发现,图书馆是由公众资金支持的机构,服务民众是其不可推卸的使命。因而,为了保证图书馆立足于数字化时代的合理性,我们必须透视技术的本质,了解民众的真正需求。

| Abstract: | In the changing digital environment,new technology has dual impact on the public libra-ries. This paper presents an alternative way of thinking about the future of large public libraries. As a publicly funded institution, the library needs to serve the public good. In order to ensure the legitimacy for public libraries in the digital age, we must catch the essence of technology and launch the research on the library's publics and the role of public libraries. |
