| Abstract: | In the light of the the requirement of development of knowledge creation, the paper argues that there are three trends of development of the function of libraries to organize and sort documents: 1. from document organization to knowledge organization; 2.from passive document knowledge organization to active document knowledge organization; 3. from existing knowledge organization to potential knowledge organization. |
