| Abstract: | This paper draws a comparison of the effectiveness of library service, the investments of facilities and the systems of management in pubraries of Guangzhou and Hong Kong. It argues that the rational distribution of library service and the structure of the main-and-branch-library system of management are the two major factors to improve public library service, which gives an inspiration to the structural reform of management for public library services in the country. |
