| Abstract: | The author carried out a field survey on the public and private libraries in Cangzhou and Xingtai of Hebei Province during the summer vacation in 2005. Based on the field survey, this paper systematically presents the general development of private libraries, analyzes the dilemma public ones are encountering, and discusses the relationship between public and private libraries from different aspects. |
