Infrequently Used Serials |
| |
Abstract: | Lack of space for collections is a common problem in libraries. Solutions include constructing compact shelving, on-site remote storage or building new library facilities. This article describes a temporary solution for the space problem at the Sterling C. Evans Library at Texas A&M University. The authors describe the criteria for selecting infrequently used serials and the physical move of over 53,000 volumes to a storage area within the library facility. |
