| 摘 要： | 围绕服务是图书馆的永恒主题这一命题，指出图书馆服务是一个不断深化发展的过程，介绍了坚持“读者至上，服务第一”的美国图书馆及其它国家一些图书馆服务的基本举措与创新．回顾与展望我国图书馆服务的过去、现在与未来。文章重点是评介美国和世界其它一些国家图书馆服务的理念与方法，同时对我国图书馆服务进行一般评述。
