| 摘 要： | 美国大学图书馆工作人员依职责实行严格的职业分类,馆员的任职资格必须有经美国图书馆协会认证的图书馆学硕士学位和相应岗位的工作经验。美国图书馆学教育重视应用而国内重视理论学习和研究能力,其硕士学位大体上相当于我国的第二学历图书馆学本科。我国实行大学图书馆职业资格认证应该重视学科知识和图书馆学知识的双重要求,避免片面追求高学历却忽视职业内涵。应通过对图书馆学教育改革和认证使图书馆学教育满足图书馆工作实践的需要,通过法律法规和评估、录用等制度确保图书馆的职业资格制度得以实行。同时应在全面统计的基础上针对不同类型的大学图书馆提出具体的实施步骤。

| Abstract: | Employee in American academic libraries fall into different categories according to their responsibilities.Librarians must have degree of MLS or MILS accredited by ALA and gain working experiences in order to enter the field.The MLS or MILS education in America pays much more attention to the applicable skills rather than the theoretic study,which is admired by the Chinese counterparts.MLS or MILS is to some extend equivalent to a second bachelor degree in China.The combination of library science education and another subject education is essential to the Chinese professional qualification.The pattern of pursuing a higher diploma while neglecting the real meaning of the profession should be abandoned.To meet the practical need in academic libraries,the library science education must be radically reformed and accredited.To guarantee the professional qualification,the rules,provisions,evaluation and recruitment systems must be established or revised.The detailed procedure for different types of academic libraries can't be agreed on only until all round statistics are available. |
