| Abstract: | Based on the analysis of the disadvantages of the traditional academic library management in China, this article describes the new ideals of academic library management in the 21st century. Major points discussed in the article includes that the university librarian is the core of library management, service is the essence of library management and the responsibility of librarian, and humanization is the supreme ideal of library management. |
