| 摘 要： | 比尔·盖茨是继安德鲁·卡内基之后对图书馆事业给予最大关注的企业家,他设立的比尔和梅琳达·盖茨基金会图书馆项目正对推动美国和全球图书馆发展做出巨大贡献,其思想理念、运作模式、制度规范对我国刚刚起步的图书馆慈善事业有很好的借鉴作用。我们应从国家、基金会、图书馆不同层面学习其成功经验,推动我国图书馆慈善事业发展。

| Abstract: | Bill Gates is the entrepreneur next to Andrew Carnegie that gave great attention to library cause in history.The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Library Program had been making great contribution to develop public libraries in the U.S.A as well as the whole world.The philosophies,modes of operation,rules and norms of the Gates Foundation have been fine references for our just—beginning library charity cause.We should study its successful experiences from such aspects as nation,foundation and library,in order to push China's charity cause forward. |
