| 摘 要： | 图书馆是以书为媒介的人与人交往和联系的场所，已经成为人们生活中的公共空间。图书馆作为公共空间可以促进社会包容，创造社会和谐氛围；履行图书馆的社会责任，提升图书馆的社会影响力；拓展网络环境下图书馆的职能。图书馆作为公共空间应规划图书馆布局，建设人本化的图书馆建筑，融入复合式公共空间的建设，并为读者营造舒适、休闲的空间环境。
