| 摘 要： | 中国近代图书馆是中国古代藏书楼的发展和继续,它的母体是中国古代藏书楼,它的根在中国,绝不是西方思想文化传入中国的产物。中国古代藏书楼由于受到小农意识、宗法制度、科技落后、图书数量少及没有足够的读者群等因素影响,具有很大的封闭性,"书藏"思想一直占据主导地位,但它并非绝对地封闭保守,也具有一定程度的开放性,具备近现代图书馆收藏图书与提供使用的基本功能和本质属性。中国古代藏书楼是中国近代图书馆孕育、产生和发展不可逾越的阶段。
