| Abstract: | This paper has expounded the concepts of the knowledge and information from the macroscopic field of library science, reaffirmed that the basic functions of libraries is "knowledge service" (or serving human cultural quality), clarified two kinds of fuzzy understandings: so-called "information service" and "knowledge service" widely spread in library circle at present. |
