| 摘 要： | 敦煌莫高窟是属于世界性的文化遗产，有着极为丰富而独特的资源。在数字时代，文化遗产数字化是信息化时代的必然发展方向。数字网络技术、信息技术在对莫高窟文化遗产进行有效的保护、对石窟文物信息进行永久性的存储等方面发挥了重要的作用。同时，对这些文化遗产资源进行科学有效的组织和管理，目前主要采取对外合作方式：与美国梅隆基金会实施“国际敦煌档案”，与大英图书馆等多家单位进行“国际敦煌项目（IDP）”，并建立“敦煌数字图像数据库”等，都为未来实施的“数字敦煌”奠定基础。落实数字敦煌的过程便是应用现代数字信息技术改进传统管理方法，增强对石窟壁画的保护研究和改进敦煌学研究工作形式的一项技术革新的实践，对于推动莫高窟遗址的管理保护和国际敦煌学的研究将发挥重大的作用。

| Abstract: | Mogao Caves of Dunhuang belong to the worldwide cultural heritage, which possess very rich characteristic resources. In this digital time, it is the inevitable development direction in information age that the cultural heritage should be digitalized. The work we urgently need to do is using the digital network technology as well as the information technology to effectively protect the Mogao Caves cultural heritage, to permanently storage the grottoes relics, and meanwhile, to scientifically and effectively organize and manage these cultural heritage resources. At present, we take some external cooperation to lay a foundation for ＂Digital Dunhuang＂, which includes the following aspects： to establish ＂the international Dunhnang file＂ in cooperation with the American Mellon Foundation; to carry on ＂the International Dunhuang Project （IDP）＂ with the British Library and many other units, and we have cav.ated a ＂Dunhuang image database＂ and so on. Archiving digital Dunhnang is a process with technical innovations, which helps us to improve traditional management methods, enhance grottoes protection and improve the work style in Dunhnang study. It will play a vital role in promoting protection and management of Maogao Caves and international academic research in Dunhuang. |
