| 摘 要： | 图书馆的发生与发展有着漫长的历史过程。图书馆起源于信息基本循环图式所描述的劳动过程的社会实践。在这个过程中图书馆是社会文化的推进器、社会化组织环节以及社会制度安排,是人民信息交流的中心、自主学习的乐园、文化进步的阶梯,其服务功能特性主要表现在图书馆服务的文化性与社会性上。图书馆的发生发展受与其相关的社会经济基础以及人类历史文化发展的影响与制约,同时也有其自身发生发展规律。
