| Abstract: | The rapid development of virtual communities has been subject to extensive research and attention,so the paper analyzes about the virtual communities abroad in the results of theoretical and practical study from four aspects,such as the concept of virtual communities,types of virtual communities,user categories,and users’ information behaviors in virtual communities,and points out the research directions of domestic scholars. |
