| 摘 要： | 图书馆学研究对象的问题，多年来众说纷纭，笔者从历史的角度考察了图书馆的双重职能：“服务历史职能”和“服务现实职能”，主张图书馆学应该围绕这两项职能进行研究，认为图书馆学的研究对象有二元性，即“服务历史研究”和“服务现实研究”。
