| Abstract: | In the late 16th century and 18th century, many western priests came into China with their western culture. In the view of document and communication science, the thesis reviews the history of the western documents. It includes three periods,every period has its particular characteristics. Because of different language and culture, the way to producing the documents had to depend on cooperation. Jesuits and many Chinese scholars translated the western documents. |
