| 摘 要： | 英国近代公共图书馆通过导读书目、主题讲座、图书展览和流动书车等服务以提高民众的教育水平.注重民众休闲娱乐功能的发挥是英国近代公共图书馆的又一显著特征.英国近代公共图书馆利用矿车送书到家、开设托管文库、向病人和盲人读者大声朗诵等方式来为特殊群体提供延伸服务.

| Abstract: | British public libraries provides several kinds services,such as guiding bibliographies,lectures,books exhi- bitions and bibliobuses to improve the public education level Paying attention to the function of leisure and recreation for public is the other prominent characteristic of British public libraries.British public libraries extends services for the special people by delivering books through tramcars,setting up deposit collection and reading aloud for the sick and the blind. |
