| Abstract: | At present,there are four characteristics in the research of library scholars in the Republic of China:the more rigorous research on the life stories of scholars,the shift from well-known scholars to ordinary scholars,the equal emphasis on individual research and group research,and the emphasis on the use of archival materials,especially in the United States.In the future,the research of library scholars of the Republic of China can be expanded and deepened from four aspects:expanding the scope of search and use of materials(including foreign language materials,archives materials and oral materials),reading and comparative interpretation of writings,proper evaluation of the writings of library scholars of the Republic of China,and broadening the research horizon of library scholars of the Republic of China,etc. |
