The Role of Academy Libraries in the Construction of Institutional Repositories |

| Abstract: | General situation of Institutional Repositories （IRs） development is introduced and the superiority of academic libraries in IRs construction is set forth. The role of university libraries in IRs construction and the difficulties that could be occurred in construction are discussed. The author＇s suggestions to build IRs of university libraries are brought forward. |
