| Abstract: | Graphic abstract is the visual summary of the main findings for the online published paper. The application of graphical abstract is accelerated in the internet publishing era. Graphic abstract plays an important role in online document review for modern readers. Based on international literatures, the definition, history, requirement, advantages and disadvantages of graphic abstract are elaborated in this paper, which will provide a reasonable guidance for the future application of graphic abstract in Chinese online academic journals. |
