| Abstract: | A total of 2?693 biomedical papers published in 91 issues of 49 Chinese medical journals were selected and analyzed. Various problems were found in the titles of 87 articles (87/2?693, 3.2 %). The problems are mainly as follows: inaccurate expression of main ideas, redundant title loaded with trivial details, usage of inappropriate abbreviations, etc. The requirements for writing and editing of the titles are put forward accordingly. |
