Abstract: | Increasingly library patrons are approaching reference desks seeking access to basic legal documents and commentary. Such is especially the case in the behavioral and social sciences, where the changing legal scene has its greatest impact. This article presents a fundamental guide to the primary and secondary materials that comprise the literature of the law. Included are recommendations for the acquisition of these materials depending on the needs of a given library. |
