| Abstract: | This article analyzes the current situation of academic libraries, discusses how to use the conception of sustainable development to improve the service quality of academic libraries. It includes six aspects: using the sustainable resource development concept to develop information resource; using the sustainable system development concept to adjust department structures; using the sustainable benefit development concept to build subject librarian mechanism; using the global concept of sustainable development to enhance the function of conventional services and expand the fields of modernized information services; using the societal equal concept of sustainable development to establish the platform for knowledge exchange; and using the concept of human evolution to create an air of the library culture "work happily and live happily". |
