| 摘 要： | 在数字图书馆的建设中，数字化信息的组织问题已经日益突出，元数据作为对这一问题的解决方案，也受到图书馆界的普遍关注。因此，从元数据的发展现状出发，探讨元数据在数字图书馆中的应用，介绍元数据的制作、检索系统，并就中文元数据的开发提出建议。

| Abstract: | With the rapid development of information technology and network, digital information resources increase very quickly. The organization of digital information is more and more important in the construction of digital libraries. And metadata, which is the way to solve this problem, is popularly noticed. This paper begins with the present situation of metadata, discusses the application of metadata in digital libraries and introduces the making and retrieving system of metadata. In the end, the author puts forward some suggestions. |
