| 摘 要： | 留守儿童是我国社会转型过程中产生的特殊弱势群体，他们的文化生活水平影响到未来社会的发展。对西部1 100名农村留守儿童的文化生活现状进行分析，结果表明：农村留守儿童普遍远离图书馆，其文化生活不容乐观。具体表现为：道德的理想价值判断与道德现实评价出现严重错位；文化知识面狭窄；文化生活平淡；闲暇活动单一。针对存在的问题，剖析留守儿童远离图书馆的原因，并对西部乡镇图书馆的建设提出三点建议。
