图书馆核心能力研究的三大主流观点

摘    要:20世纪90年代以来,国内图书馆界对图书馆核心能力的研究和理解主要有三大主流观点:①从社会制度角度理解图书馆的核心能力,认为图书馆的核心能力在于它是保障知识自由的一种社会制度;②从系统角度理解图书馆的核心能力,认为图书馆的核心能力是技术、技能、管理、经营、组织和文化的有机整合;③从服务角度理解图书馆的核心能力,认为知识服务是图书馆的核心能力。针对上述三大主流观点进行论述,并提出对图书馆核心能力认识及其研究的几点思考。

Abstract:Since 1990s, the study of library's core competence has been one of the focus topics in the library science in China. A-mong these studies, three main viewpoints have been formed. From the angle of the social system, Fan Bingsi et al. consider that thelibrary is established to guarantee the knowledge freedom: while Zhang Xiaoling et al. believe that the knowledge service represents thelibrary's core competence. But Zhao Qunhua et al. think that the library's core competence is an integration of culture, technologies,technical skills, management, and organization. Based on the analyses and discussion of the three viewpoints mentioned above, furtherconsiderations are made in this paper on library's core competence.
