| 摘 要： | Information Commons(信息共享中心)是20世纪90年代末,国外高校图书馆为适应用户需求的变化和研究的需要而建立起来的一种基础设施和新的服务模式,其服务模式主要有三种,分别是:初级阶段的IC服务模式、过渡阶段的IC服务模式和现阶段的IC服务模式。在我国研究型图书馆实施Information Commons具有重要的现实意义和可行性,故应采取实用、有效的实施策略。

| Abstract: | Information Commons is a new infrastructure and service model emerged in academic libraries in late 1990s, to meet the needs of research and study of the patrons, and has now been used in more and more libraries. This paper describes the new model from the aspects such as the origin, the developmental process, the feature and the model constitutes. Finally, the paper shows the current implication of Information Commons and proposes its prospect in research libraries in China. |
