| 摘 要： | This article compares China with European Union （EU） in e-government readiness and e-participation. The research shows that China has made remarkable progress in recent years. Nevertheless, EU is still leading in the e-government development. Then based on the further analysis of the e-government implementation experiences in EU, we propose some suggestions for the future development of e-government in China.
