| 摘 要： | 指出五定律概念在现代图书馆学中已有新的发展，认为传统图书馆在观念、建筑、资源、技术等方面限制了五定律的实现。现代复合图书馆综合了传统图书馆与数字图书馆的优势，为实现五定律奠定了基础。指出五定律对复合图书馆建设仍具有深远的理论指导意义。

| Abstract: | The purpose of Ranganathan' s "Five Laws of library Science" is to construct a library where the principles" every reader has his books" and " books are for use" can be possibly realized. Such a library will be able to provide the readers with immediate and convenient services. However, traditional concepts of libraries, their architecture, as well as the information resources and techniques that the libraries have make this idea far being realized. By contrast, modern hybrid libraries can make it possible. In this sense, a hybrid library is the combination of a traditional and digital library. It seems easier for a hybrid library to carry out" Five Laws of Library Science". And it is thought that"Five Laws" of Library Science"will be of great significance in the construction of the hybrid library. |
