| Abstract: | The authors discuss the necessity and importance of creating the full text database of Ph. D dissertations, and analyze the situation and development of Ph. D dissertation database in China and overseas. Considering the characteristics and functions of free international software Winisis , the authors think that Wi-nisis is an ideal software system to create and manage the full text database of Ph. D dissertations in China. The methods and steps of creating the full text database by Winisis are introduced in this paper. |
