| Abstract: | This article outlined new progresses in research on indexing and retrieving systems based on Unified Classification/Thesauri at home and abroad for recent ten years. It also compared and analyzed characteristics of them and showed that building a highly specialized and synthesized meta knowledge base is the basis of building unified information retrieving language in our country. |
