| Abstract: | In this paper, the authors think that the dissemination of documents is selective. The selective dissemination of documents can promote the distribution of documents. Its mechanisms can be divided into three types: active selection, passive selection and natural selection. There are a variety of applications of the selective dissemination of documents.
