| Abstract: | With the coming of a knowledge economy, knowledge is becoming a real capital and source of treasure. With such kind of treasure, libraries are among basic industries of a knowledge economy. Therefore, library industrialisation is a major way of library development. We should change the present condition in which libraries are separated from production, research and markets, and take an active part in the production and consumption of knowledge, realising and expanding the property of libraries. By macroscopic regulation, the government should lead libraries into activities of a market economy. |
